Some big benchmarks
We’ve got some big benchmarks this week, starting with Fran.
Make sure you write them down. These benchmark WOD’s help to make fitness and your progress measurable.
Write down, the weights you used, the standards you reached, how you felt, and of course your time. Fran is a WOD we repeat. You will see her again in your CrossFit lifetime, so write it all down.
People often ask why so many benchmarks are named after women. The founder of CrossFit, Greg Glassman said, anything that leave you flat on your back, looking up at the sky wondering what just happened should be named after a woman. You may also find out why people get Fran lung as well.
If you’ve never done Fran before, get ready, she can be a real B*%$! (in the most lovingly way possible of course.). Have fun!
