Drop Ins
One of the best parts of CrossFit is the global community it has grown. When you travel pretty much anywhere in the world you will find a CrossFit affiliate. We highly, highly encourage you to drop in and visit another affiliates while traveling.
We currently have members of CFI in Florida, Taiwan, etc. who have got to hit up CrossFit affiliates in those areas, and have been more than welcome to do so. Please out of respect for those affiliates reach out ahead of time to secure a drop in spot is available, and let them know you do CrossFit with us, so they know you have experience, etc.
We had some very special drop in’s with us last weekend. Don’t get us wrong, we love welcoming every drop in, but these two individuals, Kevin and Shannon Ogar, are friends. They own CrossFit WatchTower in Colorado, so if you’re ever in their neck of the woods, do hit them up. Many of you know Kevin from our time in virtual classes during the early parts of the pandemic in 2020. We partnered with Kevin’s affiliate to share virtual class coaching and give our affiliates a unique option of being coached by some other incredible coaches in North America.
Kevin is also Stout’s partner at WheelWOD, and is Seminar Staff with CrossFit HQ (which means he teaches the coached how to coach.) We call them Red Shirts, as they wear Red CrossFit Shirts during the seminars, and they are the absolute best coaches in the world. The process they go through to become a red shirt is no joke. You can actually watch a movie Kevin Ogar Will of Steel that documents his journey to becoming one, and after his accident. Kevin is also the CrossFit HQ Affiliate Rep for the Central Region of North America.
Fun Fact, which you may have seen on Instagram, Kevin and Shannon actually met inside our facility when we hosted the WheelWOD Games presented by UG Series. They’re about to celebrate their 5 year anniversary and came back for a weekend here to visit and celebrate.
We hope many of you had the chance to meet them, they’re great people. Like us, they truly live by the methodology that Greg Glassman first put in place, they love CrossFit, and helping people better their lives through it. And seriously, if any of you are in their neck of the woods in Colorado, they would love to have you pop into WatchTower.
