Saw a post on Instagram this morning from CrossFit Games Athlete Kesley Kiel.
Kelsey is a Games Athlete. Granted a she’s going team + teams don’t qualify through the open anymore. But thought it was an interesting post and wanted to share.
Here you have one of the top level athletes in the world competing in her sport. This is what she does for a living! Coaches CrossFit + Competes. She is now out of the 2019 Open, because she forgot to submit her score by the deadline. Understandably she would be upset. But she wrote a great post! She took 30 mins to be bummed out, and now she’s moving on!
If you’re competing in these 5 weeks of workouts, enjoy them! Let any of the stresses or pressure you’re putting on yourself go! We all want to do our best, that’s totally understandable + encouraged. But if you get worried about the workouts, or stressed out about the leaderboard. Try + let that go + just enjoy hitting the workouts on Friday nights with our community!
We want you to do your best, we want you to feel accomplished, but we also want you to have fun + enjoy the process!
