We mentioned it a little while ago. The Open takes a lot of time for affiliates, basically from Thursday nights until Monday nights. But as the open is coming to a close (2 weeks left), we’re looking ahead to a few of in house workshops that we talked about a while ago.
The first being Gymnastics workshop with Coach Steph. This would be done in different workshops.
Workshop 1 would be intro to the pull up + the handstand.
Workshop 2 would be developing the Chest 2 Bar + butterfly pull up.
Workshop 3 developing the handstand.
Workshop 4 would be developing the Muscle up. More details on how these will breakdown soon.
For those who may not know, a little background. Coach Steph is our resident gymnastic guru. Before CrossFit Steph coached both competitive + rec gymnasts for over 7 years. If you have watched Steph move through gymnastics movements and thought she makes them look easy, it’s because of her experience with them! She came into CrossFit with these skills and has worked over the past 8 years in CrossFit to hone them within the CrossFit realm.
