We’ve mentioned it a number of times. Do you keep track of your workouts? You should. For a number of reasons. One being that you can track your progress, your fitness is measurable! Another, a lot of the time we work off percentages, so you need to know your numbers! And let’s be honest, it’s kind of fun to look back a year or two later + see what you were doing at one time. I know a number of CrossFitters who have books going back for 8+ years of every workout they’ve ever done!
So, whether you buy a book from us or not, that doesn’t matter. But please get a book + bring it with you to class. In mine I write down how I slept the night before, or how I was feeling. For ladies, if it’s a 1RM and it’s close to your monthly cycle, write that down too. All things like that play a factor in to your training. Another tip with keeping track, it holds you accountable, if you look at your book + see that you’ve been taking multiple days off between classes, you will feel accountable! The beauty of our books however is that the pages aren’t dated, so you circle the day of the week, + write the date, so you don’t waste a page.
Keeping track isn’t just for our athletes with goals of competing. Keeping track is for everyone! It’s a new year, start tracking all your 2019 workouts!
