Back to Back Squat EMOM
If you remember… We did a squat cycle last year that start with a 10 Min EMOM week 1 and finished with a 25 min EMOM week 4.. This year we are doing the same but stoping at 20 min emom
So, you will work through some squats in the focus and dial in your technique and weight, then you will keep that weight the whole cycle. The weight should be challenging to accomplish 3-5 reps of.
Week 1 – 10 min
Week 2 – 15 min
Week 3 – 20 min
Results of this squat cycle.. better ability at squatting, stronger squat strength and sore ham strings and glutes… The last piece can be easily fixed with routine maintenance and pre/post squat mobility and recovery. If you don’t do these things, expect stairs and the toilet seat to be your enemy!!
