We have been told that we are no longer allowed to park along the back of the driveway against the snow bank. This lane is for deliveries next door, and the big trucks are having a hard time navigating past all of our cars.
There is a lot of parking around the corner on the east side of the driveway. This problem will be fixed in the summer, when we pave up to the windows. I think they underestimated how busy we are during our class turnover!
We appreciate your help with this.
Last thing is a reminder that our annual Bill Pain Food Challenge seminar is coming up on Feb.2nd. Bill has had another full year of research under his belt, so I’m sure there are a lot of new things to learn for everyone.
As well, we are hosting Shirlee Williams from Buddha Rider on the same day at 11:00 am for a yoga clinic. Shirlee will be talking about the effectiveness of yoga for our performance athletes. She promised there would be no bells and Ohmmmms. We are very lucky to have this relationship with Shirlee, and expect this to be a fantastic learning experience. Cost for this is $20, to cover all Shirlee’s expenses.
Winterfest is next Saturday, Feb.1st. Competitors be ready to have some fun outside in the cold air. Should be really interesting for the ski crowd when they see some of you busting out workouts in the middle of the village. If you are not competing, we would love more volunteers. Speak to Paul or me about details. You don’t need a lot of experience to help out. Workouts are pretty simple, mainly just counting numbers for the athletes. If nothing else, come out to cheer on your fellow Indestri athletes, it’s always better in front of a crowd.
Have a great week everybody.
