Alright everyone, we had a few members take a shot at 13.5 tonight. Tough workout at the end of a long 5 weeks. We’ve seen some great things happen during the first 4 weeks, and this workout seems a little anticlimactic to me. This is what we’ve decided to do. I’ve got a buddy of mine in town, Brian Byrnes who is the lead singer of I Mother Earth (great Canadian rock band), and Brian wants to come and crush a workout at Indestri with our gang. He has offered to play a small set during the BBQ! Gotta love it, live music at the box.
We still have a bunch of people that will be doing 13.5 on Saturday morning, so we need to show up and cheer them on. Enjoy some food and music and brag about how well we will do next year! HAHA.
Oh yeah, and one more thing. Make sure you bring your workout gear, because we have to earn our food…
The first annual Morning Vs. Evening Comp will take place as soon as Rob gets done his toes to bar with a dress on, and all 13.5 athletes are done.
So, to be clear. Everyone is working out! We’ll sort it out on Saturday, but basically we’ll do small teams or partners from the morning classes, against small teams from the evening classes. Bragging rights to the stronger group. The coaches may have to put a small wager up for this one too.
Looking forward to this. Would love to see someone hit the 4:00 time bonus! That will be cause for a toast.(Creemore plug)
Here’s a clip of Brian at the Casby’s with I Mother Earth.
